What did you do with your big whopping stimulus check? I paid my doctor and bought a pair of shoes. There’s a few dollars left, so I might get my car cleaned. Woo.
i don’t even know if i am getting one. My letter never got to me, but my mother said she saw one that my dad brought to the house. (his name is James Hollaman, mine is James Hollaman guess where my letter went) But since i did the mail instead of direct deposit i will be getting mine in june or july
It hasn’t come yet, but part will go to pay for the second hand Epson 2200 I bought, the other part will go into the bank to help make up for the money I had to take out of savings to pay for the plumbers to make the big hole in the front yard when my water main broke this winter.
a leak in the basement that is driving me mad. as for the rest of it, who knows.
A friend is going to rectify the toilet situation during or after the ConQuesT weekend.
Teresa, I feel your pain. I’m glad I got laid off about a month after the loan from my 401(k) was paid off or I would have had to repay the balance. We took it out in 2004(!!!) when our sewer house-to-main line collapsed. It was the original 1912 Orangeburg tile, as far as the plumbers could tell, and it was impossible to use a rooter because it was a non-standard size. Our drive still isn’t the same but it’s low on repair priorities.
I haven’t received mine yet. Something about not having filed my tax return yet…. (Don’t worry; I’m legal. I did file the extension form.) When I do receive it, it will probably go toward something boring, like the mortgage.
Perhaps the Congressmen, but probably only a couple of stockers, a truck driver, and a cashier. At least the manufacturer has a human rights policy to “improve the quality of life” of their wage slaves around the world.
*chuckles* More like me having too many deductions and not hitting the right number to get one. Just as well. I didn’t really want to pay it back next year. ^_~`

Well, I suppose paying for labor and materials counts as stimulating someone’s economy. Keepin’ it local, definitely.
