The ice storm turned into a slushy whimper in my immediate vicinity. I worked at home on Tuesday, even though I probably could have made it into the office without too many problems. I think I actually got more work-work done than I do at the office.
Today has been an ugly, gray day. For a brief moment I lamented not having photographed any of the ice, but they would be terribly dreary without sunlight and sparkle. Maybe tomorrow.
I need to find a new pair of snow boots. The pair I’ve been wearing for two years are in great shape, they just don’t play nice with the arthritis flare-up in my foot. I need either a half-size larger, or a higher softer toebox. Boots boots everywhere, and every dang one of them has a high heel. Where are the freakin’ snow boots, people? Flat. With traction. And Thinsulate. Bueller? Bueller?
