We went to Honolulu several years in a row when I was a pre-teen/teen. It was always fun, it was just before Honolulu got infected with the mainland chain/fast food disease.
BUT: One year I found a truly beautiful, dead shell. The hotel we stayed in had a shell/specialty shop. I left the shell with the owner and she promised me, falsly, that she’d send me the shell once she’d processed the nastiness out of it.
She lied. I’ve never trusted any commercial provider that much ever since.

and appear in good spirits. I’m going to be out and about tomorrow so will do one more check to make certain they’re happy.
your diveway is melting and it appears that it will be in the 50s by the time you get home.
Things are going well.

Thanks for kitteh-sitting. And that’s good news about the driveway and the temperature!
