My rheumatologist thinks my bizarre allergic reaction(s) last weekend were triggered by stress on my already over-active immune system. I was already experiencing a fair bit of pain and fatigue, and I had been pushing myself fairly hard to keep up with events all week. And the hip? Bursitis. Damn, I sound old, don’t I?

things should be less stressful now that the meetings are over and Mike is home. Aren’t they?
Hugs, sweetie. (passing along sweet Yumi kitty kisses…)

Thanks. Things are getting better, but won’t really calm down until after Archon/Nasfic/Tuckercon/whatever the heck they’re calling it this year. Thanks for the hugs, and Mischief sends some kitty kisses back at ya.

Time for a rest!
Isn’t this getting older thing lots of fun? New aches and pains every year. but it beats the alternative. đŸ˜›
Feel better soon!

Thanks, T. I have to keep moving until after Archon/Nasfic next month. Then I can decompose into a lump of artistic goo [as opposed to simply decomposing. ;)] I’m always amazed at how productive and organized you are.

Definitely! It’s high time we met, after all these years of emailing each other. Come find me at my table in the alley, or in the art show. Looking forward to seeing you.

July 13, 2007 at 12:15pmBursitis is NO fun, but it does respond to antibiotics — at least mine did the one time I had it.
Here’s hoping for slower times, less stress, less pain, and more rest for you.

July 13, 2007 at 1:53pmBursitis, tendonitis, arthritis… maybe I should just change my middle name to “itis”. Alli-itis?

July 16, 2007 at 5:34amHey, Allison! Frank Wu here. It seems like our paths cross every four or five years… Sorry to hear about your ‘itis’ problems. It hadn’t made the connection that you were working on the KC worldcon bid – I’m all for KC!

July 16, 2007 at 1:56pmFrank! Good to hear from you! You know, it’s high time our paths crossed again. Are you going to Arcon/NASFIC/Tuckercon this year?

July 16, 2007 at 4:54pmNo, unfortunately, no. I’m not going to Nasfic or Worldcon. Just too many conventions. Dang. I wish I were going.
I think I might have asked you this when I saw you last time, but I don’t remember what your answer was – do you happen to have a copy of the complete text to the Resurrection Man story by David Hill from E-Scape? If so, could you email it to me at FWu@FrankWu.com?

July 16, 2007 at 6:21pmWow, talk about a blast from the past! I doubt I have a copy. I’ll check my backups, but it could take a while. I’ll let you know.
