I’ve been accused have having commitment issues.
– After several years of a love-hate relationship with Mike’s Chair of Intelligence aka the cat’s chair aka that damned recliner…
– After several years of saying “I can’t have new furniture until the cat dies” and nearly a year of saying “Well, the cat has been dead for a while now”… and aquiring two new cats with healthy life expectancies in excess of at least another decade and a half…
– After looking at new and used recliners in two states and being incredibly annoyed at their lack of back support, their overstuffed ginormousity, and their ridiculous pricing schema…
I finally bought myself a chair. 
I found it Nebraska Furniture Mart on clearance, its tag price half of NFM retail and two-thirds less than MSRP. Serious solid construction by Flexsteel. Cushy in all the right places. Fabric in earthy tones of cinnamon and sage. Now, I just need to figure out how to get it home….
Commitment….

January 27, 2007 at 10:31pmThere is some sort of Kitty-B-Gone spray that seemed to work on my La-Z-Boy. It is not cat damaged and it had many cats around it for 20 years.
