Let it be known henceforth that I will not, repeat not, be on the ConQuesT committee next year AND be a participating guest. I meant to take this year off from committee work, and somehow found myself volunteering. I need a year off. This time, I mean it. I hereby request, with ya’ll as my witnesses, that someone kick me under the table if I make any attempt to volunteer my time for anything in the next 12 months…. (scurry, scurry, scurry)

I know what you mean; some day, I shall not be the only person besides Jim who plans the Campbell Conference, and yet… sigh. Somehow I keep doing it and keep loving the Center enough to dedicate months to the projects!
