Today I had the most amazing opportunity to attend the Rally For Sanity on the National Mall in Washington DC. I don’t know how many people were there, but it was elbow to elbow from the stage at the Capitol end of the Mall to the Washington Monument at the opposite end, with people filling the steps of museum buildings along either side, and the streets radiating outward. I look forward to the Archon convention in St. Louis every year, and this year is especially exciting: they have a new location. I checked it out a couple of weeks ago, and it looks fabulous. They are still spread out a bit with activities in two separate hotels and the attached convention center, but it’s very walkable (even for a gimp like me).
