A Kansas City news station reported a 20-cent per gallon increase in the price of gas today and showed pictures of stations selling at $2.09. I scurried right out to Costco and filled up at $1.84. I suspect they will raise the price before they open tomorrow. I bought the tan trench coat. I like the way it fits, I like the price, and I think I can learn to live with the color for the next few years. It’s water-resistant. (I wonder if that means it will also be coffee-resistant? There is a practical reason I wear black.) I really don’t want to drag out the search into the weekend holiday shopping madness.
